About

I am a third year PhD Student at the University of Alberta supported by the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute and advised by Michael Bowling. My current research interest is in getting agents to reason about their computation, just as they reason about how they can bring about goals in the world. This research direction aims to build agents that make the most out of available computational resources, and to create long-lived agents that continually adapt their compute beyond what can be designed in advance.
